Greenville, S.C. – The Furman men's soccer team is back in action on Sunday afternoon when it travels to Wilmington, N.C., for a 4 p.m. match against the UNCW Seahawks at UNCW Soccer Stadium.

The Paladins improved to 1-1-1 and earned
Brandon Tucker his first victory as Paladin head coach on Thursday night with a 4-3 triumph over 19
th-ranked Duke at Koskinen Stadium in Durham, N.C. Trailing 2-1, Furman scored three straight goals to grab a 4-2 advantage and held on in the final minutes to claim its second victory in the all-time series versus Duke.
Ryan Wagner netted the match-winning score while
Ryan Reid,
Grayson Travis and
Diego Hernandez added goals. Hernandez, a preseason All-American selection, has scored in each of Furman's first three matches of the 2026 season.
UNCW enters the weekend at 2-0-0 on the season and is coming off a 1-0 victory over the Mercer Bears. The all-time series between Furman and UNCW is knotted at 1-1-2 and the schools played to a 1-1 draw in the most recent meeting on August 22, 2024, in Greenville.
Furman caps its road trip at Davidson on Friday, September 4, before returning to Stone Soccer Stadium to host Garner-Webb on September 9 at 6 p.m.
