GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman sophomores Lillie Murphy and Elle Warren will begin play Saturday at the ITA All-American Championships at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, N.C.
The Paladin duo qualified for the main doubles draw after winning the doubles title at the ITA National Summer Championships last month. Â
Murphy, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and Warren, who hails from Canton, Ohio, will also each participate in the prequalifying singles round on Saturday ahead of Wednesday's opening round of the doubles main draw.Â
Warren will square off against Tennessee's Maeve Thornton at 10 a.m., and Murphy will face Kavya Karra of Harvard at 11 a.m.Â
