Greenville, S.C. – Furman, winners of five of its last six games, travels to Raleigh, N.C., to face the ACC's North Carolina State Wolfpack on Tuesday. Tip-off at PNC Arena is slated for 6:30 p.m. and the game will be televised live on the ACC Network.
The Paladins (7-3) rebounded from a loss to High Point last Tuesday with an 82-67 triumph over the Winthrop Eagles on Saturday afternoon at Timmons Arena. The victory marked Furman's 31
st win in its last 33 regular season non-conference contests inside Timmons.

Bothwell and Slawson, both on the Lou Henson Mid-Major Player of the Year Watch List, have led the Paladins averaging 20.3 and 15.5 points per game, respectively. Furman went 1-1 versus ACC foes last season. The Paladins captured an 80-72 overtime win at Louisville before falling 74-61 at North Carolina.
Tuesday's game marks the 34
th all-time meeting between the Paladins and Pack, but the first between the schools since a 94-56 NC State victory at Reynolds Coliseum in Raleigh, N.C., on November 27, 1985. NC State holds a 31-2 series lead and has won the last seven meetings. Furman's last win, a 68-67 decision came in the North-South Doubleheader on February 4, 1978, in Charlotte, N.C. The win, coupled with the Paladins' 89-83 win over North Carolina the previous night, gave Furman a sweep of the North-South Doubleheader.
The Wolfpack enters Tuesday's game at 8-3 overall and 0-2 in ACC play following an 80-73 loss at Miami on Saturday. NC State has claimed wins over Butler and Dayton this season, while suffering losses to nationally-ranked Kansas, Pitt, and Miami. Terquavion Smith leads the Pack averaging 17.8 points per game, and Jarkel Joiner has added 17.6 per contest.

Following Tuesday night's trip to Raleigh, the Paladins will host the Greenville Winter Invitational on Saturday, December 17, at Bon Secours Wellnes Arena. South Carolina and East Carolina meet in the first game of the tripleheader at 2 p.m. with Furman taking on Stephen F. Austin at 4:30 p.m. Clemson and Richmond battle in the final game of the day at 7 p.m.
