GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman indoor track and field teams will open the 2025-26 season Friday at the Clemson Opener in Clemson, S.C., Saturday at the Boston University Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass., and Sunday at the JDL Early Bird Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.

At Clemson, the Paladins will compete in the women's 600m, mile, 3,000m, and 4x400m relay, while Furman will run in the men's 60m, 200m, and 3,000m.  Fourteen women are slated to participate for Furman, while nine Paladin men will compete at the meet.

Seniors Sierra Bower and Carly will run in the women's 5,000m at Boston, while graduate student Albert Velikonja and junior Chris Knight will lace up in the men's 5,000m.  There will be 18 heats of the 5,000m at the prestigious meet, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and concluding at 9:30 p.m.

On Sunday, junior Brayden Seymour will pace graduate students Evan Guzman and Bryn Woodall, along with senior Colton Kempney and sophomore Matteo Tonnos in the 3,000m at the JDL Early Bird Invitational.  Race time is set for 12:20 p.m.
