GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman women's tennis head coach Michelle Dasso announced today the signing of six players for the 2025-26 season.
A native of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Bianca Ceroni is an Under 16 Canadian national doubles champion and an Under 18 Ontario provincial singles finalist. A two-time doubles ITF champion, she is an honors student at Assumption Catholic Secondary School, where she also participates in skiing and golf.
Sasha Dimitrov from Alpharetta, Ga., is a five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net. At winter nationals, she won a doubles bronze ball for both 16 Under and 18 Under. Also as an 18 Under, she was a doubles gold ball winner. At Denmark High, Dimitrov was chosen the freshman MVP in 2022. Her mother, Julia Dimitrov, played Fed Cup in 1998 and 1999, representing Tajikistan, and went on to play tennis at Georgia College.
A native of Maidenhead, Berkshire, Lily Doherty was a British Tour semifinalist in 2024. A three-time Berkshire County champion, she qualified for the Road to Wimbledon finals stage and was selected for the LTA regional performance pathway. Doherty, who also competed in netball and track and field at Wycombe High, received the Manning Davenport Award and Scholarship twice for high performance tennis.
A five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Lillie Murphy comes to Furman from Knoxville, Tenn., where she led her Knoxville Catholic High team to three-consecutive state championships. The 2022 and 2023 Tennessee doubles state champion, she achieved a number one UTR high school national ranking in 2023 and went on to win the state singles championship in 2024. The top-ranked recruit in Tennessee for her graduating class, she was honored as the 2024 KnoxNews and 5Starpreps Player of the Year. A member of the National Honor Society, she also was selected to Mu Alpha Theta and was a member of the Irish Ambassador Leadership program. Murphy volunteers with the Knoxville Catholic All-Sports Camp.
Molly Robinson of Skelmanthorpe, West Yorkshire, is a Under 16 grade 2 nationals singles and doubles winner in Edinburgh. She led her Yorkshire women's team to a national title in Winter County Cup Division 1 in 2023, where she was awarded her team's Headingly Trophy for best performance. As a member of the Cultiv8 Academy Team, she reached the premier national team finals four-straight years, claiming two national titles and two runner-up trophies. Robinson, who advanced to the Women's Brit Tour finals and four semifinals, was the ITF J60 Loughborough doubles runner up in 2023 and the ITF J30 Liverpool doubles runner up in 2024. At Wakefield Girls High, she was the recipient of the Jean Lamb award for sporting and academic excellence. Her mother competed on the senior England U18 and U21 lacrosse team.
A four-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net, Elle Warren hails from Canton, Ohio, and is a student at IMG Academy. She is the top ranked player in Ohio for the class of 2025 and won an L2 doubles championship. She placed third and fourth at the L1 doubles championships and captured titles in both L3 and L4 singles and doubles.
