Women's Soccer Travels To USC Upstate Thursday Night

Kickoff Set For 7 P.M. On ESPN+

Greenville, S.C. – Furman goes for its fifth consecutive victory when it travels to face USC Upstate for a 7 p.m. kickoff Thursday at County University Stadium in Spartanburg, S.C.

The Paladins enter the week at 4-1-0 on the season and riding a four-match winning streak. Last time out, Emma Sexton netted a goal and added an assist while Maddie Massie scored two goals to propel the Paladins to a 5-0 victory over the Presbyterian Blue Hose last Thursday evening in Clinton, S.C. The win marked head coach Andrew Burr's 250th career victory. Now in his 21st season, he ranks as the Southern Conference's all-time winningest coach.
 
USC Upstate comes into Thursday's match with a 2-3-0 record following a 1-0 victory over Queens on Sunday. Furman and Upstate are meeting for the 13th time with the Paladins holding a 10-1-1 series lead. In the most recent meeting between the schools, Furman claimed a 2-0 victory over the Spartans on September 8, 2024, at Stone Stadium.
