GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Furman cross country teams will run at both the 2026 Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course in Madison, Wis., and in Queens' Royals Cross Country Challenge at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, N.C., on Friday.
At Wisconsin, the women's team will compete in the championship 6K A race at 11:30 a.m. ET, while the Paladin men will run in the championship A 8K race at 11:10 a.m. ET and in the B race at 11:30 a.m. ET. The women's field includes 34 teams, while the men's race will feature 35 teams, with more than 20 Power 4 programs attending.Â
Paladin women who will compete at the race include juniors Zoie Lamanna, Nysa Males, and Rory Sullivan; and sophomores Elly Velasquez and Tessa Walter; and freshmen Bridget Dunn and Georgy Helmers.
For the men, seniors Trevor Coggin, Chris Knight, and Owen Shifflett will be joined by juniors Colin Eckerman and Ryan Smith, sophomores Ty Jones and Zach Youngblood, and freshmen Evan Spreitzer and Lucas Tanner.

In Charlotte, the Paladins will compete in the women's gold 5K race at 5 p.m. and in the men's gold 8K at 5:45 p.m.
Furman men who are slated to compete in Charlotte include graduate students Jack Anderson and Luke Taylor, sophomore Ben Winn, and freshmen Connor Demmerle, Michael Ferguson, Michael McKnew, and Chappell Martin. On the women's side, juniors Joiner Evans and Delaney Vickers will join freshmen Olivia Ferraro, Calysta Garmer, Jazzlyn Garmer, and Celia Schulte in the race.
