A native of Wilbraham, Mass., Kandel earns the first weekly honor of her career after pacing the Paladin offensive in a pair of non-conference games last week against UMass Lowell and Quinnipiac. After not scoring a goal in the first six games of the season, she netted a team high 13 to lead Furman while combining for nine draws, three ground balls, and one caused turnover.

Kandel scored a career high seven goals on March 12 in the Paladins' 21-20 last-second win over UMass Lowell and followed on March 15 with six against Quinnipiac. Entering the week, Kandel presently ranks third on the team with 13 goals and fourth with 16 points.
