Greenville, S.C. – Furman University Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics
Jason Donnelly announced several promotions within the game operations and athletics facilities team on Thursday.

These promotions recognize their tremendous contributions, trusted leadership, and the important role they play in the continued success of Furman Athletics."
Todd Duke, Associate Athletics Director/Facilities & Game Operations, has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Director/Facilities & Game Operations. A member of the Furman University community since 1997 and Furman's Heller Service Corp Staff Member of the Year selection for the 2018-19 school year, Duke has direct oversight and management responsibilities for all scheduled events involving Timmons Arena and athletic facilities. He was named to the All-Southern Conference Faculty & Staff in 2020-21 and was tabbed as Furman Staff Member of the Year in 2022-23. Duke's children, Dru, Shannon, and Philip, are Furman graduates, and youngest son Michael is a rising sophomore.
Josh Basha, who has been part of the Furman athletic department since 2019, has been promoted to Associate Athletics Director/Facilities, Game Operations, and Capital Projects. His primary responsibilities include game operations with football, volleyball, men's and women's soccer, softball, and women's lacrosse. Basha also served as the primary liaison between Furman and the Greenville Triumph during the club's time as a tenant at Paladin Stadium. In addition to playing a pivotal role in hosting the first and second rounds of the Men's NCAA March Madness Tournament in 2021 and 2026 and the Women's Basketball NCAA Regional in 2022, he also served as Tournament Director for both the 2022 SoCon Volleyball Tournament, 2022 NCAA FCS First Round playoff game, and 2023 NCAA FCS Second Round playoff game on Furman's campus.
Corey Robinson, who is being promoted to Assistant Athletics Director/Facilities & Game Operations, originally joined Furman Athletics in 2021 as an intern before earning a promotion to assistant director of game operations and facilities in 2023. Robinson's responsibilities include game operations for the men's soccer, volleyball, and softball programs. He was the tournament director of the 2025 SoCon Men's Soccer Championship and second and third rounds of the 2025 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship. Robinson also assists with the management and upkeep of all athletic facilities.
Csaba Szabo has been promoted to Production Services Director. A 2018 graduate of Furman, Szabo has worked at the University since 2014. Well versed in all equipment Furman Operations uses at games and live events, he oversees operation of Furman's sound systems, communication system, light systems, and video board software. Szabo acts as the liaison between Furman and its video board and official review providers. He has taken the lead on operating and maintaining the new production room in the recently renovated Timmons Arena.
Spencer Starks, a member of Furman's staff since 2013, has been named Timmons Arena's building superintendent. Starks is responsible for setup of the physical space for games, practices and events while also leading a crew of workers when necessary to change over the facility from one event to another. He is the building's forklift operator and can be seen moving stage decks, chairs, and other equipment around campus as needed. A skilled wood worker, he has also made backdrops for photo shoots, run sound systems, and led setups for a variety of events in many venues.
