GREENVILLE, S.C. – Furman head men's golf coach Matt Davidson announced today the team's schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season.

The Paladin schedule includes ten tournaments, with five each slated for the both the fall and the spring.

"A lot goes into putting together the schedule each year, but our main goals are playing competitive fields on great golf courses," said Davidson.  "I feel like we were successful in that for this coming season.  The fall will be busy and condensed, and the spring should be more spaced out and back loaded to peak at the SoCon Championship."

Furman will open the fall season at the Bearcat Invitational, which will be hosted by the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, from Sept. 15-16, then will visit Durham for the Rod Myers Invitational, Sept. 21-22.

The Paladins will return to Dallas, Texas, for SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational, which is scheduled for Oct. 4-6, before playing in the Bryson Invitational, which will be held at Doral's Blue Monster course in Miami, Fla., Oct. 12-14. 

The 56th Furman Intercollegiate will be held at the Furman University Golf Club on Oct. 18 and 19 to wrap up the Paladins' fall season.  

The 2026 spring season begins at Ball State's Lake Jovita Invitational in Tampa, Fla., Feb. 28-March 2.  Also in March, Furman will travel to the Michael A. Marino Classic, hosted by Coastal Carolina at Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach, March 14-16.

The Paladins will compete in tournaments at Vanderbilt and North Carolina in April again this year.  The Mason Rudolph Championship will be held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn., April 2-4, and the Tar Heel Intercollegiate is slated for April 10-11 at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The Southern Conference Championship will be held at a new site the season.  The event is scheduled for April 26-28 at Pawleys Plantation in Pawleys Island, S.C.  The Paladins finished as the league runner-up last season, marking Furman's highest under head coach Matt Davidson and the highest finish since the Paladins won the championship in 2010.

The NCAA regional championships are slated for May 17-19 at six campus sites, and the NCAA Championship will be held May 28-June 2 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
