CLEMSON, S.C. -- Furman's Tuesday baseball game at Clemson has been postponed due to rain and rescheduled as part of a Wednesday day-night doubleheader at Fluor Field, Paladin head coach Ron Smith has announced.
Wednesday's first game will begin at 2:30 p.m., and first pitch for the second game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Clemson will be the designated home team in game one and Furman the home team in the nightcap.
Both games will be webcast and live streamed through All Access/Stretch Internet at www.furmanpaladins.com and via portable stadiium transmitter at 105.9 FM, with Dan Scott, the "Voice of the Paladins", delivering the play-by-play. Live stats for both games will be presented through furmanpaladins.com and Twitter updates provided @FurmanPaladins
Furman (26-20) is coming off a two games to one series win at Georgia Southern while Clemson (32-15), ranked 14th in this week's Collegiate Baseball Poll, took two of three from Maryland over the weekend.
The Paladins are 6-1 at Fluor Field this season.
