GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Due to forecasted wet weather on Sunday, Furman and UNCG will play a Saturday baseball doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. at UNCG Stadium, it has been announced.
Furman, which won Friday's SoCon series opener, 15-7, over the Spartans, is expected to throw junior right-hander Elliott Warford (1-1, 2.84 ERA) in Saturday's first game followed by freshman right-hander Matthew Quarles (1-1, 4.07 ERA) in the second game.

In another scheduling note, first pitch for Tuesday's Furman-Presbyterian contest at Latham Stadium has been moved up to 4:00 p.m., and Military Appreciation Day, which had been planned for Tuesday's contest, has been postponed and will be rescheduled, head coach Ron Smith has announced.
