Greenville, S.C. – The Furman softball team, coming off a series win over Wofford this past weekend, hits the road to play four games during the final week of the 2026 regular season.
Furman travels to Atlanta, Ga., on Tuesday for a 6 p.m. clash versus Georgia Tech in the final non-conference contest of the season. Tuesday's game, which was originally scheduled for last Wednesday before being postponed, will be streamed live on ACC Network Xtra. The Paladins conclude the regular season this weekend with a three-game Southern Conference series versus the Chattanooga Mocs at Frost Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn. Saturday's doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. with Sunday's regular season finale slated for 2 p.m.
The Yellow Jackets hold a 26-18 lead in the all-time series versus Furman and claimed a 5-0 victory in the most recent encounter between the schools on February 22, 2022, in Atlanta. Georgia Tech is 29-26 overall and 10-14 in ACC play after being swept in a three-game series against No. 8 Florida State this past weekend.
Chattanooga salvaged the final game of its series at first-place UNC Greensboro on Sunday to improve to 19-27-1 overall and 7-11 in SoCon play. The Mocs blanked the Paladins three times in last year's series at Pepsi Stadium and holds an 87-28 lead in the all-time series between the schools.
Furman enters the week at 13-36 overall and 5-13 in league play, but the Paladins have won eight of their last 14 games, including taking two-of-three from both Wofford and Mercer. Freshmen

Jamison Noonan picked up victories in the circle this past weekend while
Katie Peeler batted .500 and
Sylvia Burroughs drove in four runs.
Burroughs has hit .338 with nine home runs and 39 RBI to lead the Paladins in all three categories.
AB Cipalla is second on the squad with a .336 average and a team-best 11 doubles.
Following this weekend's series at Chattanooga, the SoCon Softball Championship will be held May 6-9 at Frost Stadium.
