Greenville, S.C. – The potential for inclement weather in the Atlanta, Ga., area this evening, including thunder storms forecasted around game time, has forced the cancellation of Furman's non-conference finale at Georgia Tech, which was scheduled for a 6 p.m. first pitch.
Tuesday's game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, but was postponed due to poor air quality in the Metro Atlanta area caused by wildfires in North Georgia.
The Paladins conclude the regular season this weekend with a three-game Southern Conference series versus the Chattanooga Mocs at Frost Stadium in Chattanooga, Tenn. Saturday's doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. with Sunday's regular season finale slated for 2 p.m. All three games will be streamed live on ESPN+.
Chattanooga will also host the 2026 SoCon Softball Championship, which is set for May 6-9.
