DURHAM, N.C. – Furman's Ludvig Josefsson (-4) is tied for ninth at the conclusion of Monday's play at the 16th annual Rod Myers Invitational at the par 72, 7,154 yard Duke University Golf Club in Durham, N.C.

Play was suspended at the midpoint of round two due to lightning and will resume on Tuesday morning.  Timing for Tuesday's restart has yet to be determined.

A junior from Hestra, Sweden, Josefsson carded an even 72 with four birdies in the opening round and has a flawless second round going with four birdies in five holes from No. 5 through No. 9.  He sits five shots behind individual leader Vijay Powell (-9) of George Mason, who fired a 68 in round one and is 5-under in round two.  

Junior David Oliver IV (-2) is tied for 16th after leading the Paladins with a 1-under 71 and four birdies in the opening round.  He sit at 1-under in the second round with three birdies on the front nine.  Freshman Tucker Gutierrez (E) shot even par with four birdies in the first round and is 1-under with birdies on No. 7 and No. 8 in round two to sit in a tie for 27th.  

Graduate student Ben Loomis (+5) is tied for 63rd and sophomore Cameron Reed (+7) is tied for 69th.  Loomis is even in round two, while Reed is currently 1-under for the second round.  Sophomore Benton Manly (+6), who is playing as an individual, is in 68th place. 

UNC Greensboro (-18) leads the tournament by five shots over UNC Wilmington (-13).  Harvard (-12) sits in third, followed by Xavier (-10) in fourth and host Duke (-7) in fifth.  George Mason (-6) is four strokes ahead of Furman (-2) in sixth.  The Paladins lead SoCon foe Wofford (+3 - T9th) and Power 4 opponent Virginia Tech (+3 - T9th), among others.
