GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Greenville's Fox Sports 1440 will serve as the flagship radio station for Furman football, men's basketball, and baseball for the next three years, it was announced today by Dan Scott, Furman's director of broadcasting.

"I'm extremely happy we are continuing our relationship with Fox Sports 1440," said Scott in making the announcement.  "It's the first time in my tenure here we've maintained the same flagship station in consecutive contracts, and that consistency is very important to our fans."

I'm also thrilled that, for the first time in school history, baseball is fully vested in this contract.  We will broadcast more Furman sports on free, over-the-air radio than ever before.  It's an exciting time for Furman athletics."

In addition to Fox Sports 1440, Paladin fans can tune in to Furman station WPLS 96.3 and access broadcast streams for all events via FurmanPaladins.com and Tune-In Radio on the Furman channel.

Scott is entering his ninth year as play-by-play "Voice of the Furman Paladins."
