GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman junior Chris Knight will compete at the NCAA Cross Country Championship Saturday at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo.
A native of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Knight finished 20th at last week's NCAA Southeast Region Championship to earn all-region honors and qualify for the national meet. He posted a time of 30:10.0 at the region meet, knocking 21 seconds off his previous 10K PR.
Saturday's national championship will be broadcast live on ESPNU with a pre-race show beginning at 10 a.m. ET. The men's 10K race will begin at approximately 11:10 a.m. ET, and the awards presentation will be streamed live on ESPN+ beginning at noon ET.
